Reason for this visit

East Asia and North America (primarily the United States) are the two largest cryptocurrency trading markets in the world, accounting for approximately half of the global cryptocurrency market volume. Compared to many exchanges in East Asia, US exchanges are subject to stricter regulations, and the US is home to the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Coinbase. In an attempt to help investors to gain a more comprehensive understanding of current cryptocurrency exchanges in the US, WikiBit survey team decides to go to the country for on-site visits to local companies.

On-site visit

In this issue, the survey team went to the US to visit cryptocurrency exchange TDSR Exchange as planned according to its regulatory address that 250 Fillmore St, Denver, Colorado.

The investigators came to 250 Fillmore Street in Denver, Colorado, US for an on-site visit to the exchanges office. A modern high-rise office building with a glass façade is located in downtown Denver, with no signage or advertisements regarding “TDSR Exchange” outside the building. Meanwhile, the nearby streets lack obvious commercial clusters.

Upon entering the ground-floor lobby, the investigators first noticed an interactive digital directory screen displaying tenant information. A search for “TDSR Exchange” (and the initial “T”) yielded no matching results. The investigator then inquired about the companys location at the front desk. The staff stated they were unfamiliar with the name and suggested it might be located either in the shared workspace on the 1st floor or the private offices on the 6th floor—but could not provide further guidance.

The 1st floor is an open-plan shared workspace occupied by multiple small businesses and startups. During the on-site visit, the only signage in the shared area indicated functional zones (e.g., meeting rooms, coffee lounge), with no listings of specific tenant names. No identifiers or dedicated workstations related to “TDSR Exchange” were found.

Upon proceeding to the 6th floor, the investigators observed that the tenant directory listed only two companies: “RMB Capital” and “Schoolcraft Capital,” with no record of “TDSR Exchange.” Additionally, no promotional materials referencing the company were found on corridor bulletin boards or near elevator lobbies.

To further verify the facts, the inspection team attempted to access the official website of TDSR Exchange (https://www.tdsrexchangepro.com/#/index). However, the page displayed a “Cannot Access” message and remained unresponsive despite multiple refresh attempts. A subsequent search on third-party business information platforms revealed that while the company's registered address in Denver is listed as 250 Fillmore St, no specific floor or office number was associated with it. This inconsistency contradicts the company's claimed physical presence.

Through the on-site investigation, it is confirmed that the exchange does not have a physical presence at the location.

Conclusion

The survey team went to the US to visit cryptocurrency exchange TDSR Exchange, but did not find the company at the regulatory address. Accordingly, investors should be meticulous in choosing the exchange.
