Reason for this visit

Compared with many exchanges in East Asia, US exchanges are under stricter supervision. And the United States has the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Coinbase. To help investors know more about the local exchanges, the survey team will go to the United States for on-site visits.

On-site visit

This time the survey team visited the cryptocurrency exchange GeminiCrypto in New York, U.S., with specific address at 600 Third Avenue , 2nd floor, New York, NY.

According to the above address, the survey team came to the destination of this survey, an office building located at 600 Third Avenue, New York, U.S. The building is located in the business district of uptown New York, and the nearby high-rise buildings look very prosperous.

Entering the building, the team consulted with the reception and learned that GeminiCrypto, the cryptocurrency exchange, was not operated in this building. To further confirm whether the exchange was working here, the team went to the 2nd floor but only found that it belonged to a shared office that provided the service of virtual office address.  

Conclusion

The survey team went to New York, U.S. to visit the cryptocurrency exchange GeminiCrypto, and found that the business premise of exchange was a shared office offering the service of a virtual office address. The team failed to find the office of GeminiCrypto at this address. After confirming with the building reception, they learned that the exchange did not have an office there. Please be prudent if trading with this exchange.
