A Visit to ROX in the US - No Office Found

Denver, Colorado, United States
Reason for this visit
East Asia and North America (primarily the United States) are the two largest cryptocurrency trading markets in the world, accounting for approximately half of the global cryptocurrency market volume. Compared to many exchanges in East Asia, US exchanges are subject to stricter regulations, and the US is home to the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Coinbase. In an attempt to help investors to gain a more comprehensive understanding of current cryptocurrency exchanges in the US, WikiBit survey team decides to go to the country for on-site visits to local companies.
On-site visit
In this issue, the survey team went to the US to visit cryptocurrency exchange ROX as planned according to its regulatory address that 1777 Wewatta St, Denver, Colorado.
The investigators came to 1777 Wewatta Street in Denver, Colorado, US for an on-site visit to the exchange‘s office. Sentral Union Station, a full-service apartment encompassing two high-rise buildings, is located in the city’s central business district, with a shopping mall on the ground floor. The overall environment is ordinary, with no distinct commercial or office building characteristics. No 'ROX' signage or company logos were found either inside or outside the building. Preliminary assessment suggests it is unlikely a standalone office premises.
Upon entering the lobby, the survey team observed that building access requires a keycard, and then gained entry by following residents. The lobby features two rows of large mailboxes, with a layout more typical of a residential building than a commercial office. A digital directory screen is available for tenant lookup, but no matches were found for 'ROX' or the company's full name. Notably, the directory only displays resident names—not business entities—further raising doubts about the company's presence at this location.
The registered address '1777 Wewatta Street' should theoretically specify a floor and unit number, but these critical details are missing from the registration records. The inspection team attempted to contact the property management for clarification, but representatives stated they had no knowledge of a company named 'ROX' and emphasized the building primarily houses apartments and retail spaces, with no corporate tenants on record.
To verify the information, the investigators attempted to access ROX's official website (http://roxexchange.com/#/), but found the page inaccessible. Furthermore, no publicly available information could be found linking the company to the Denver address. Based on the building's residential/retail function and the address's lack of specificity, they suspect this may be a virtual registration address or an erroneous entry.
Through the on-site investigation, it is confirmed that ROX does not have a physical presence at the location.
Conclusion
The survey team went to the US to visit cryptocurrency exchange ROX, but did not find the company at the regulatory address. Accordingly, investors should be meticulous in choosing the exchange.
