Tech Center Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States

Reason for this visit

East Asia and North America (primarily the United States) are the two largest cryptocurrency trading markets in the world, accounting for approximately half of the global cryptocurrency market volume. Compared to many exchanges in East Asia, US exchanges are subject to stricter regulations, and the US is home to the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Coinbase. In an attempt to help investors to gain a more comprehensive understanding of current cryptocurrency exchanges in the US, WikiBit survey team decides to go to the country for on-site visits to local companies.

On-site visit

In this issue, the survey team went to the US to visit cryptocurrency exchange Rebe as planned according to its regulatory address that 5575 Tech Center Dr., Ste. 119, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

The investigators conducted an on-site inspection of Rebe based on the provided information. The target address is located in the eastern suburbs of Colorado Springs, within a sparsely developed business park dominated by a modern low-rise building with a sizable footprint but limited surrounding amenities. The street environment appears ordinary—neither a bustling commercial district nor a visibly underdeveloped area. Upon arrival, the inspection team noted the buildings exterior was well-maintained but bore no clear signage identifying Rebe.

According to the declared information, Rebe should occupy Suite 119. However, the buildings internal directory explicitly lists Allied Universal—a prominent integrated security services provider—as the tenant of Suite 119, with no affiliation to Rebe.

The inspectors accessed the building lobby without issue and confirmed Suite 119‘s presence in the directory. While Allied Universal’s branding was visible in the lobby, no logos or directional signs for Rebe were observed. Although the inspection team reached the designated floor and suite entrance, access to the companys interior was denied (“Entry Permitted: No”). Suite 119 features two separate entrances: a public access point and an employee-only entrance, neither displaying Rebe identifiers.

To verify further, the investigators attempted to visit Rebe‘s official website (https://www.rebe.band/), but the page failed to load, indicating the site was inactive. Additional checks on Allied Universal’s corporate profile confirmed its core business revolves around security services, with no ties to cryptocurrency or financial sectors.

Through the on-site investigation, it is confirmed that Rebe does not maintain a physical presence at the location.

The survey team went to the US to visit cryptocurrency exchange Rebe but did not find the company at the regulatory address.  Accordingly, investors should be meticulous in choosing the exchange.
